Each brand was given a score of 0 to 100 based on these factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Users:<\/strong> Consumers the brand has a relationship with<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Emotional Connection:<\/strong> Positive feelings a user has for a brand and the extent to which their values closely align<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage:<\/strong> The depth and intensity of the emotional connection to the brand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archetypes:<\/strong> Degree to which the following six need states are present:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fulfillment<\/li><li>Nostalgia<\/li><li>Enhancement<\/li><li>Identity<\/li><li>Ritual<\/li><li>Indulgence<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results of the Study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gen Z\/Millennials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ages 18-34<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men prefer gaming brands<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Women prefer retail brands<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Playstation ranks highest in the nostalgia archetype<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone loves Amazon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>38% of YouTube users can&#8217;t live without it<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gen X<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ages 35-54<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple and Samsung are top brands for Gen X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And of course, they too love Amazon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gen X also loves a good Netflix and chill, or just Netflix. Subscriptions to Netflix in this age group have increased every year since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeep is going electric and Gen X digs it.
