Spotify just became much more competitive with Apple Music, dropping the cost of its family plan to $14.99 for up to six people in a household.<\/p>\n

Families can now subscribe<\/a> to Spotify Premium for $14.99 per month and get six different Spotify accounts and profiles.<\/p>\n

Spotify introduced its family plan in 2014 but sold the plan at a 50% discount based on the number of accounts. That means paying\u00a0$14.99 for two accounts, $19.99 for three accounts, $19.99 for four accounts.<\/p>\n

A family of six would cost $35 using the old Spotify model. It now costs $14.99 for the same thing.<\/p>\n

Spotify family plans are available in all countries where Spotify operates excluding Canada but prices differ based on location.<\/p>\n

Spotify has more than 30 million premium users while Apple has 13 million subscribers.<\/p>\n
